RE: R12 etc. Even though I will probably switch to Freeze 12 or Duracool or some such next spring, a word of caution: MOST SHOPS WITH THE EQUIPMENT TO PROPERLY WORK ON YOUR AC SYSTEM WON'T TOUCH YOU WITH A TEN FOOT POLE!. Especially if you have used any of the 'sealant' additives. If it isn't R-12 or R-134 most shops testing and recovery equipment can't handle it, and in fact can be damaged by the other stuff.
