As I have learned from Chris in PA and others on the list, all Vanagons have the bolt holes for the middle seat rails. On the westy it is hidden under the floor. I think Chris has the seats and maybe even the rails available.

One of the things I like about my 84 Westy Wolfsburg is the center seat rails and seat were already installed as a factory option. Oh yea, the tach and power steering is nice too. The vanity light for the passenger.....not so much.
