Hey folks,

I am in the middle of pulling the rear axles and repacking/replacing the CV joints. So far the CV work is going well, I am just not sure how to clean up all the old grease that is in the area where the CV bolts to the tranny on one end, and where it bolts to the wheel hub on the other end. Can I spray a degreaser (like engine bright) in those areas. I am worried about the degreaser getting into the tranny or stripping all the grease from the wheel bearings.

Thanks, Jake B
