Damon,

It might be in your interest to join WetWesties. <http://wetwesties.org> There, you'll find "people with similar interests." I for one and my wife, Lisa, for two could not imagine not having a VW camper of some sort here in the Pacific Northwest. There are just too many places to spend a day or so and a Westy or other camper allows one to just "go."

We (and a few other folks) started WetWesties over seven years ago because we found that we enjoyed the camadarie of VW owners and their families. Since that first gathering, WetWesties has grown to nearly eight hundred members and has inspired folks in many other parts of the world to create similar organizations.

Get your lady to one of our gatherings and I can guaranty that you'll have a better chance of keeping your camper.

You might want to meet my friends Tobin and Christa <<tobin.copley at ubc.ca>>. They may be able to show you around your new home.
