I don't have an AC Westy, but have traveled extensively in the Great American Desert in my '83.5. There are some winds you can't fight and win. It's certainly possible that you were in one. The big terminal on the starter is connected directly to the battery, it should always have power (unless you disconnect the battery). It the one on the solenoid that should have power only when you turn the key to start. |
