Kris ~~~ To determine your problem bring the bad cylinder up to top dead center remove plug and run a air test. You will need a air compressor & a hose that has a fitting for the spark plug hole & on the other end a fitting for a quick release from your air compressor hose . Set the air regulator at 50 to 75 lb,s If the rings are bad you will hear the air coming from the oil fill area .~ if the exhaust valve is burnt it will come out the exhaust pipe.~~ if the intake valve is burnt it will come out the air intake . you also may have a notch burned out the side of the head or piston & cylinder area.If you dont have the equipment to do the test find a good shop that can .We can help you with the parts you may need .
