E-bay, like anywhere has good deals and bad. The only people qualified to say whether a deal is good or bad are those directly involved in the transaction. The rest of us may have our opinions, we may know of a cheaper price or buyer willing to pay more somewhere else, but it is not our deal. If the buyer and seller are happy,that is all that matters.

I shop and sell on E-bay, and from private parties, if I do not like the price, merchandise, etc, then I don't buy. Recently I was looking for a new glove box for the van, a list member offered one for $25.00 plus shipping, a fair price considering that new they are over $100.00. I bought one off of E-bay for $1.25 plus shipping, obviously the seller did not do as well as they had hoped, but they honored the transaction and we now have a glove box that looks like it is new for a fraction of the cost.

Should list members advertise E-bay finds or items belonging to nonmembers, yes, so long as they clearly state that this what they are doing. As much as I hate to see the latest deal that I have found advertised to the world, I welcome the opportunity to view those deals that others find more. In the end, the more potential buyers and sellers there are, the better off we all are. Helping someone, even someone that you do not know, find or sell an item is the right thing to do.
