I need new tires soon and was thinking of putting my studded truck tires on the van for the winter - the studs are pretty worn down but the tread is still good. However, the guys at Les Schwab (?) told me they are 4-ply and I need 6-ply. I'm going to be driving hiways to the ski resorts on some weekends.

Thanks,

Andree
