Paul,

I was impressed with the Nokian line when searching for tires last year. The "WR" model made sense for my use, which by assumption, sounded allot like what you wrote. Some snow some off-road gravel and mostly hwy. driving. The WR's are a full snow-tire rated (not an all-season) can be driven year-around with a reasonable tread wear life expectancy and are low-noise on the pavement at speed. Have some 25,000Km on them and remain very satisfied with the tires performance.

Would suggest though, if at all possible (mandatory in some territories) run 4 of the same tires for maximum traction control and drivability! Phil Z. 87 Westy
