I have traveled the USA quiet a lot in my 91 Vanagon GL and I normaly keep
it at 65 to 70 mph and it goes all day long.  152000 miles and still doing
well.

I'm going on a trip for the first time in my 91 carat. What is a good
cruising speed on the highway without pushing the engine too much. I'm in
