Don't know about the paint color, but it would seem reasonable that a
lighter color van would heat slower than a darker one, up to a point.
Like if you drove from under a tree to sit out in the sun. The lighter
one would heat up slower inside than the darker one, but eventually they
both will be equally hot.

A good UV rejection window tint makes a HUGE difference in how fast the
vehicle heats up from solar radiation, as the uv passing through the
glass really heats the air inside. Block the UV and it slows heating
dramatically.
