It also makes a difference if the vehicle is a daily driver or not. I've
found that once you have more vehicles than drivers, the cost per vehicle
drops tremendously. Actually, when I was still single it cost me LESS to
insure 3 cars than it did to insure 2 cars. The multi-car discount I
received more than made up for additional vehicle. I think I kept that
car insured for about 2 years after I sold it. ;-)
Below is what Brunhilda cost us with Geico when listed as a 3rd vehicle
for 2 drivers (i.e., low mileage & recreational use only). Our insurance
also dropped significantly when we moved from Sacramento to Mariposa,
which is where we are now.
