Entity David and Shirin spoke thus: > http://www.webx.dk/oz2cpu/radios/psu-pc1.htm Hey, great! I'll have to read it closely. Others are saying it won't work. As Felder pointed out there is a way to adjust a rheostat in there to bump the voltage up. Mine runs at 13.8, which is ideal. If you can't squeeze any more voltage out of the existing adjustment then you need to modify the regulator circuit with a resistor. And another thing. The PS is not a charger. To make it into a charger it needs a current blocking diode to prevent the battery from discharging when the charger is unplugged. In a pinch you can still use it but remembering to disconnect when you unplug. You could also do this with a relay. The diode solution absorbs about .2 volts so that drop needs to be figured into the rheostat mentioned above. --Gnarlie |
