> The Boge shocks are the best on the market . It sounds like > someone is trying to push someones brand ???
And you say this based on what? Oh, I see, you have never actually seen a set of Alko's. After all why bother, when you already know in advance, without the need for comparison, that the Boges are "the best on the market?" Calling something "the best on the market" is a pretty strong claim in a case where you may not be familiar with all alternatives and/or the personal preferences of all users. (For example, some people like a firmer ride than others, hence the popularity of alternatives such as Bilstein and even KYB.) Personally, while I may relay customer comments on a product from time to time, or discuss its performance or features, I tend to stop short of calling any product unequivocably "the best" unless I feel that such a claim is practically indisputable. Incidentally, it wasn't me who posted the positive review of the Alko's in the first place - it was another listmember who is using them. I sell them all (Boge, Bilstein, Alko, KYB, and Cofap), and make about the same markup on all of them, so I don't have an incentive to "push" any particular one. The user reports I've gotten (this most recent one included) are enough to make me lean toward the Alko's personally. But Boge is also an excellent shock, and if someone preferred them I certainly wouldn't advise against them. - Ron Salmon The Bus Depot, Inc. www.busdepot.com (215) 234-VWVW _____________________________________________ Toll-Free for Orders by PART # : 1-866-BUS-DEPOT |
