i looked on the nokian web page for the phone numbers of distributors in california; there were 4. one was a disconected number, 2 were the same owner and no longer carried them, the last, schultz tire in auburn, ca, said they still sold the hakks. except that for my 14 inch rim, the only tire they carried that worked was the CS, which they didn't stock in that size. well it took them 2 days to find out they couldn't get them from the main warehouse in oregon, because apparently they don't stock them, either. so they are special ordering them from the main plant in tennesee and i'm paying $60 in freight to have them shipped to me. the total cost is $565, and it's going to take them a week to get here.

when i went to big o, they not only didn't have a single snow tire in the store, they said they couldn't order nokians, or any 6 ply snow tire in my size.

Ben.
