Have you tried re-torquing the bolts that hold this pipe on? Sometimes the bolt heads actually strip out so you don't get a good final torque on these.

Hi all, I recently installed a new o-ring at the junction of the big black water pipe (2.1 engine ) and the water pump. I cleaned both sides thoroughly and installed the new o-ring. Now the thing leaks at this junction. Does anyone have a suggestion of some type of sealant to staunch the flow of coolant. Thanks. Rick Koller
