Check your output voltage at the battery.  Perhaps your alternator is
putting out more than 14 volts and frying your voltage stabilizers.  I
have these for around the same price as the shack if you want an OE one.

I've been blowing voltage stabilizers (3 prong thingie under dash).
I've gone through 4 and still  I haven't found the root of the problem.
My gas/temp gauge are at zero.  With new stabilizer, gauges works for
awhile and then they go to zero and I have to put in new stabilizer to
get gauges to work again.

I've been paying $5-7 for these voltage stabilizers.  I see that my
local Radio Shack carries...they look the same as the ones that I've
been getting at car place.  Problem is that Radio Shack has 2 that look
the same.  Once says 7 and other says 14.2.  Can I use the radio shack
stabilizers (they
call them regulators).    If so, which one do I get?  They only cost
$1.49
or $1.99 which is a lot cheaper than what I've been paying.

Of couse, the ultimate is to be able to fix the problem so my guages
work. Thanks
