Subject: fuel line replacement
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

hey collective wisdom replacing the fuel line on the 87 syncro I sold my friend. anyway--how many people replace the small line from rail to injector--ie--the fuel injector line? I know its preinstalled on new injectors. should I be replacing it? and what is the favorite method of removing the old and installing the new. I got the "kit" from ken at van-again (thanks ken) and he says to cut the metal ferrel off the injector, but I know I have seen other methods here that are less obtrusive. that and I cant find my dremel--another tool borrowed out I guess. I am replacing the injector seals as well (is this also advisable in your opinion?) seems to be advisable since your in there messing with stuff--and they're only $4. anyway--like to hear favorite methods or voodoo chants on the subject of replacing these lil lines. mike ps--line looks old and scary. remember the van I was looking at the other day that developed a leak in front of my eyes. it got me riding her about changing these things. this van may not be mine anymore--but I still get to wrench on it
