Jeff, Ken,

you can also re-seal the blower housing without the clips by 'welding' it shut again with Acetone. I recently replaced my front blower using the following technique:

Press the housing pieces together, dip a screwdriver in a jar with Acetone (careful Acetone is a solvent for many plastics, metal or glass work fine) and hold it to the seam. The Acetone will rapidly spread along the surface, 'melt' the plastic and evaporate quickly - the parts will be joined when the two 'melted' surfaces harden up again. It is quick (a matter of seconds) and convenient, works on other parts as well, but only with certain plastics. If you see a gap, press the parts together and apply the Acetone - eliminates rattling.

Caution: Do not use too much - it will then not evaporate quickly and might actually deform the plastic, just use a drop. Caution: Acetone is extremely flamable

Just another option... Wolfgang
