I also have a vague memory of at least one of my old man's cars having fender skirts. No custom cruiser skirts but factory items. Once those things got sealed in slush, they added a whole new dimension to the art of chain installation. And back then we had REAL slush because cinders were used on the roads instead of salt. Yeah, the good old days.
