We have often use a hose (no fitting on one end) to slip over the gas-station bathroom's sink faucet, and fill up a flexible water jug and take it to the van. We usually fill from the TOP of the van's water tank - a pain as we have to take everything out of the cabinet. I also use this method to get free HOT water to fill my "solar shower" to use off the back of the van (in public I wear my swim trunks while showering). M
