Yea... I just ordered a wiper motor for my 99 Passat, something like $180. Rain water had worked its way into the motor housing and made the wipers sound like they were groaning in misery, which is what I am doing now after paying that $180! Moral... inspect and keep all those drains clear > You know those vanagon heaters motors are not bad? Agreed
