Ben It should be workable. To get the length necessary you will have to make a rear section that slides forward on to the factory roof when not in use, with legs that drop down when you pull it out. I have thought about a similar extension for the back of our Westy to be used with a tent section to enclose the rear when the hatch is open. This would give us the ability to seat four comfortably and still have the lower bed set up, you would use the extension as part of the bed.
