Since my Westy is an air-cooled van, do I have access to the same options?
Will I expect to pay more or less?  The Westy is currently at Meyer's
Service in Vegas going on two weeks now.  I expect any day to get the call
that a rebuild of some catastrophic scope is in order.  The van only has 80K
miles and is otherwise in great shape, but tossing several thousand dollars
at it is out of the question.  Maybe it's some relay or vacuum leak, but I'd
love to know what the options for an air-cooled van is before they ask me if
I'm sitting down.
