Hi everyone and thanks for all the tips and help provided here. Last week I try to repair my door lock actuator that was definitely not working. All the wires seems OK so I decided to at least oppen it before ordering a new one. I found jammed wheelgear and lots of verdigris. If only VW had put more lubricant thse actoator would have last much longer. I cleade up everything, put a lot of WD-40 and white grease as well. Only 2 small srings (about 2X4 mm) where disintegrated by rust where replace by insulation foam that push a cooper bar against another electrical component. The original sealing material was replace by Caulk stuff. Works fine now. Good luck Denis |
