This wire seems to always wear out. All mine did. In my 84's it goes back into the black distribution box in the engine compartment. If this wire is broken the alternator won't charge is my understanding. Trace it back and splice a good one in.

Listees, this blue wire is cut/broken off at the alternator (12 o'clock position). Can't seem to find anything in the Bentley. I am no expert, as you can tell. Also, my battery LED does not come on when starting the van, and I have to rev the engine to almost 4000rpm when warn to have the regulator switch. New regulator????? TIA.
