I am already seeing many prices starting to go up on the wholesale end. Prices generally held for a while, as suppliers sucked it in and hoped for the dollar to recover quickly. But instead it's been slipping further, to its lowest value in years - and it's finally taking its toll pretty much across the board. Fortunately I stocked up heavily before the dollar sank to its present lows, so I've been able to maintain most of my prices so far. But each time I sell out of a part and have to reorder it, it costs me as much as 20% more.

The bottom line: Vanagon parts prices are going to go up in the near future, industry-wide, unless an unexpected recovery of the dollar occurs. :-(
