Subject: Sliding window glass source? (1984 vanagon)
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed

Hi,

A neighbor kid shot a BB through the fixed part of of the driver side sliding window of my '84 Westfalia. I know I can buy a new gasket and pull the window out of the vehicle to replace this glass pane but where can I find a replacement piece of glass? Do any of the mail-order companies sell it? Does VW sell it? Or is this something that I have to have made by the glass store or find in a junk yard (not likely here)?

Thanks,

-Dyer Lytle in Tucson
