I was looking at a Sprinter the other day (from a short distance) and
was wondering what the chance was that a VW poptop might fit.  At first
I didn't think so, but after looking for a bit, I think it just might
fit.

Also wondering what the possibility is of importing the camper bits of
the James Cook/Marco Polo to do a conversion here.  I'm sure (fairly)
that would be legal, since I'd be dealing with a legit vehicle.

15 years from now I'll be 66 (frightening thought).  I was 34 when I
bought my '85 Westy (that's pretty scary, too!)  Guess I'll still be
driving it then, assuming gasoline is still available.  Could a Westy be
modified for a hydrogen fuel cell??

Now that the Eurovan is oficially canned from the US market, what will

all be driving 15 years from now?  As much as i like to think my vanagon
will
still be alive by then, im sure life changes, and time, wear & elements
will
have taken its toll (or someone will have probably totalled it by then)
so i
look to the future...

I, for one would not drive one of those new microbus minivans (those
things
are supposed to be no bigger than a Nissan Quest...i might as well buy a
Nissan
Quest, thell be cheaper)..   What else is as big as the current vw van?
nothing really..  didnt GMC can the safari/astro too?  that was the only
competition the EV had..
anyway.. i digress.. maybe the daimler-chrysler Sprinters will be cheap
enough to own by then..

so what about you?
