How about a Pinzgauer? They are air cooled, for those that hate waterboxer cooling systems. Even more boxy then vanagons, for those that can not think outside of the box. Four wheel drive, for the syncro affectionados. They are more rare then syncro vanagons(in the U.S.), for those of us that just have to be different. Available in 4X4 and 6X6 models, both with over a foot of ground clearance and engines that run under water they will take you farther offroad then a syncro can even dream of. With prices starting around $8,000.00 U.S. they do not cost much more then a good late model Westy, kitchen not included of course. But hey, you can modify them to your hearts content with little fear of hurting resale value. Oh, they have their own version of a listserv for those of us that need the connection to others so afflicted.

Just a thought, after all it is Friday.
