Fellow list members,

I have had the good fortune to do business with Steve regarding the locking cap that he has just announced the availability of. A list member referred me to him a while back and Steve has been a pleasure to deal with. When I emailed him his response was immediate, and all through out the transaction he kept me informed of the status. Though it was a small order, just a new lock cylinder for our Westy's water tank, his service was exemplary, and he threw in one of the first production new caps for us to try. As for his new locking cap, I have yet to install it as it is winter and the van is parked, when I do expect that it will fit as well as the original. In comparision with our original the replacement matches in all aspects except color, it is more ivory in appearance, similar to that of a switch or outlet plate in your home. Thanks again Steve for your excellent service, you are setting the standard for others to follow.

After a good bit of delay, we've finally finished a limited run of NEW water
tank locking caps for the old style filler for the Vanagon Westfalia.  This
is not the entire filler assembly, just the locking cap.  We've had people
asking about them, as there seem to be a number that have been drilled out
as the keys were lost.  These are entirely hand made, and an exact fit.
