Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How much does it cost?

A. The cost is $25 dollars if you arrive on Friday or $20 dollars if

you show up on Saturday. This is per vehicle, not per person.

Q. What about campground costs?

A. The entry cost includes camping and event fees.

Q. What if I'm just visiting for the day?

A. Walk in's are $2 per person.

Q. Can I bring a trailer or RV?

A. RV & trailer parking is available, but there are no hook-ups.

Q. What if I don't have a bus?

A. If you need a hotel, you're in luck! Click here and ye shall be

saved (and warm and dry and cozy and clean and ...).

Q. Is this a public or private campground?

A. Windsor State Park is run by the state of Arizona and ALL LAWS in

the state of ARIZONA are in affect and inforced. The park rangers

(same as POLICE) will be patrolling the grounds, so please behave

appropriately.

Q. Can we have fires?

A. Yes, according to these rules:

* NO FIRES ARE ALLOWED ON THE GRASS, unless contained in a BBQ on

a picnic table

* In the dirt/sand areas, fires are allowed ONLY IN ABOVE GROUND

PITS (washer tubs, barrels, BBQ's, etc.)

* There are Cabanas at the site with park style BBQ's and tables

available for use also

Q. Are dogs allowed?

A. Dogs (or any other animal) MUST be on a leash at ALL TIMES. If a

Ranger sees an animal off a leash they will remove it and ask the

owners to leave. Being a state law, there is no flexibility on this

for us. Please don't push it and ruin your weekend.

Q. What about glass bottles?

A. Please bring plastic cups to hold your beverage in, as glass of

any kind is not allowed.

Q. Can we party late into the night?

A. Umm, no. Quiet time is from 10pm to 6am. Please turn down the

music in consideration of your neighbors.

Q. How close to "civilization" are we?

A. There are restaurants, fast-food, supermarkets and hotels (w/real

bathrooms) within walking distance of the event.

Q. What sort of clothing should I bring?

A. It can get pretty cold at night, so bring warm clothes. If you

have a portable heater, bring it! Daytime attire is shorts &

T-shirts. Rain is possible, but not very likely.

Q. What else is there to do close-by?

A. Bring a bike if you want to tour the park and/or the English

Village. There is a real nice walking trail with all the native plants

in the park grounds for those that would like a change of pace.
