I just leave 3 of the screws out of my battery cover. The 4th one (left front)
is left in, but a tad loose.
When I need to access the battery I just flip the carpet back and rotate the
cover clockwise on it's remaining screw. I can get access with the seat all
the way back. but if I want to put jumper cables on I need to move the seat
forward a notch or 2. No rotating. No screwdriver...
