Seems like a lot of trouble when a pair of needle nose vise grips will do the trick. If you're concerned about damaging the fuel line with the vise grips, put two small pieces of fuel hose over the ends of the vise grips before you clamp the line. If you're fuel line is brittle, it should be replaced anyways. Cheers, Jeff

Has anyone who changed a fuel filter added an in line valve similar to plumbing valves on hot water tanks that we can turn off when changing a fuel filter? Seems like a good idea. Does such a valve exist or does one just clamp the fuel line or is it too brittle to do so? It never occurred to me that the fuel would drain out when changing a fuel filter.
