Make sure you really need a tank. I banged mine in the woods, and it began leaking diesel fuel. People on the list assured me the tanks were the same, but make sure it's for the right year range. Anyway, I tried a stick of gas tank patch from Autozone. I ran the tank almost empty, jacked it up to make the little fuel left run to the side opposite the leak, and sanded the leak well. I kneaded up the dough and stuck it on. That was in October, not a drop since. Jim
