Not the answer to the question your asking but a reasonable solution, in my case. I bought one of these: http://www.busdepot.com/busdepot/details.jsp?partnumber=253070715A works great. Bob Stevens http://groups.msn.com/BobsPhotoShare http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tiico
I have a flex arm on which the rollers are worn off and it keeps coming off the rails in the skylight. I have unsuccessfully tried to 'superglue' a couple of shirt buttons to the metal rivet holding the rollers in place, and tried crimping a couple of 1/4 split washers onto the rivet... (both solutions suggested on the list) but they pop right off when I raise and lower the skylight. Do the new flex arm rollers have a groove in them which fits the rail? Can someone take a digital closeup and send me the basic setup on e-mail in case I'm making some fundamental mistake?
