A buddy of mine is selling is 1985 full westy. Some details:
body in very good shape with a few small door dings (like most of us). No rust whatsoever. Paint (dark brown) is in good shape. Asethicially this is a very nice vehicle. 4spd manual tranny and stock 1.9L engine. The engine is good and doesn't leak or smoke at all. I have not checked compression, althouhg i believe it to be good. For serious buyers i can check compression for you. Tires are mediocre and will need to be replaced shortly (14" steel rims). Intense stereo system as the seller is a music freak. There is a second battery and all of the westy stuff works and is complete. I have not popped the top in a few months, but i don't recall any rips or tear- but i'll have to look at it again just to be sure. I don't know the milage, and again i'll check that if you're serious. We put my used syncro springs in the rear and new Bilstein shocks- the front felt pretty good so we didn't touch it. My friend is having serious financial issues and needs to sell this bus. He
is asking 6800$ but price is OBO. The bus is located in Moscow ID. He is willing to help transport the bus w/in reason to the seller. Serious buyers please email me for more details. I should be getting some photos from him today. At $6800 this bus is a great deal. If i had the money (the my wife wouldn't KILL me, i'd purchase it myself for that price!). I'll look over the bus or take it to a shop (buyer pays) for an inspection.
