I've been lucky. This has happened to me on 2 different vans and both times it was a loose nut..... no, not me but a legitimate first consideration. Pop the small black cap off the "hub" with a flat blade screw driver and clean all the corrosion and rust and gunk out of the "well" where the nut sits. I unscrewed the nut, popped the wiper off, cleaned everything up real well, put the wiper back on and tightened the nut using a small open end wrench. Worked fine. Hi volks, Tried my wipers the other day and only the passenger side worked. Obviously the motor is OK. Has anyone BTDT?
