Gnarlie: Now we're all adults and we know no car, not even a Vanagon, can be driven across country with a hole in the engine silly goose. I'm sorry I didn't disclose the full details in my original post but I didn't think it was necessary. I'll make this simple for ya. Van intended to be driven across country; engine blew in Missouri; I rented a trailer and a truck at that point and carted the van to WA. Any other questions, feel free to ask.
