No. Its not the motor. Likely arm is stripped where it mounts on the spline. Very easy to fix. Remove arm. Use a scribe or some other fine metal pointy object. Scrape out the arm material in each groove on the metal spline. Its about 30-40 of them - it goes quickly. Re-attach arm and tighten down.
