European vehicles will have WV2ZZZ as their starting digits, the ZZZ is the part that signifies a European market vehicle.

I went to look at an 84 westy near Charlotte, NC that was listed here a couple of weeks ago, it was a white (repainted) camper that was fairly nice, high miles, loose front end, cooling system had not been burped. most unusual was that it had a carburetor! It was definitely water cooled. Does anyone on the list know this van. VIN was WV2ZB0252EH058356. Was this a European unit or a conversion? I have not run the VIN to check, if anyone can, it might be interesting.

Thanks

jim
