Pete, The rust problem is an ongoing battle unless you live in the desert. You can slow it down considerably though. Before having the painting done, I would consider pulling the interior and taking a drive up to Windsor, ON to Krown Rust Treatment. It's a Canadian franchise that many folks here recommend. They will shoot this waxy oil into your panels and seams and it will wick its way through. It's a good idea to pull any insulation you can get to also.

If you make this an annual event, you can slow the rust damage down considerably. Ya might think of re-doing the undercoating if it needs it.
