I'm not the mechanic in the family but a couple months ago my dad had some coolant hose(s) replaced on our 90 as he didn't have the time/inclination to do it himself (he's a vet of the European theater, 1944-45, so he's not always up to feeling like doing these tasks anymore). Anyway, he told me last night while investigating yet another coolant leak that he noticed whoever did the work at the garage did not put the clamps on properly. Just another thing to look for if you don't do the work yourself.

Eric,

You may have a point, but replacing all the hoses and clamps is

good way to make sure you inspect *every* joint and component in the fuel system... skimping here looks like a real case of false economy to me.

Fuel-line replacement kit from Van-Again: $53.00 Replacement '85 Westy as nice as mine? thousands Knowing I won't burst a fuel line: priceless
