Subject: Re: Don't waste your money. Fuel Line's - Filters etc to prevent

Sometimes it's better for some people to drive around with lines they know nothing about, rather than try and fix it themselves. I've seen people 'fix' their auto only to have it be killed by their 'fix' work. Fire sucks, especially when YOU'RE at fault because you 'fixed' something. Besides, not everyone needs to completely overhaul their fuel delivery system. My fuel delivery system (minus the filter) is 235,000 miles old and looks rather fine (yes, I've peeked into them on the ends, no cracks) I'd do my lines eventually, but this van only has to last until next month, then it's being parted out... cheap. ;) It's a case by case basis to be determined by wear and ability. If you're not sure or comfortable with what you're doing, seek professional help. Please.

I'm not trying to discourage anyone from doing their own work. Hell, I believe if you have the internet, tools and space, then you can do just about anything, but... do it right, or do it twice... or never again if it burns. :)
