 Very coincidently, I just bought a '91 Vanagon that was a wheelchair
van.(yesterday)They were trying to sell it for a year from an outfit that specializes
in wheelchair vans. Unfortunately, there's not a large market for ones that
old. The state funds that usually help purchase such vehicles, want newer ones
that would be considered more reliable. The lady I purchased mine from,
finally decided to sell it without the wheelchair lift stuff on it. She advertised
it for $3995 for a quick sale. It was in excellant condition, except that the
air conditioning needed servicing. Just a thought------> Your friend might try
advertising on the bullitin board of the local VA hospital.
