andrew, dont you have a passenger vanagon? the engine lid - not the rear DECKLID - is different on single/doublecab pickups. its almost totally square.. and substantially smaller than the passenger van engine lids..and yes it has a plywood top (why, i have no idea, as the thing gets wet everytime it rains)

why are we talking about vanagon single/doublecabs anyway??
