Subject: rear defroster wire hookup- 82 westy
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi, I just discovered that the rear defroster is not hooked up on my new 82 westy diesel, and I can't really find where the other piece of wire to connect to is... The wire from the defroster window comes out through a round hole in the side of the inside quarter-pannel, and there are aprox 15 inches of wire hanging down onto the shelves below before the plastic connector... I assume that that the wires plug together inside the quarter pannel somewhere or behind the shelves, but I have searched long and hard (and tried fishing around in the quarter pannel w/ a coat hanger/ flashlight, but I can't seem to locate the other end of the wire... Bently can't help with this one either..

Any hints as to where it is? Or how I could find the other end without taking the whole bus apart?

Thanks! Greg
