Plastic buffing compounds in various grades are generally available.  The
real problem is how do you get any manner of buffing wheel or bob to contact the
edges of the lens without first removing the lens from the housing?  Then the
problem becomes how do you remove the lens without hearing the sound of
cracking plastic?
