There are many spaces that you could camp here on the treasure coast (2 hour's from Orlando, 2 hours from Miami), but it would have to park in a out of the way location. Not exactly legal, but too many locations for the police to bother checking every day. Most of the RV's I know spend the day at the beach, then park overnight in Wal Marts to stay legal. Though our van's should pass under the radar.

Along the keys it is more difficult, as you will be harassed. Around Behia (spelling?) Honda, you can stay at the state park and camp. I do not know the price. There are many places near Lake Okeechobee and north of Orlando that you can stay for free, just not near any beaches.

P.S. Today at the beach the high was around 65 and it is supposed to be in the low 40's tonight. We have a cold front coming through.
