Don't waste your money on a new hall sensor. Clean the area real
good and carefully epoxy it in place.  Make sure you don't
get to much or to little on the distributor.  I've done this
fix on at least 7 Vanagons that I can remember. Not one, has ever
failed.  This piece is defnately a weak spot. COuld have been better
designed.  A replacement has the same issues.
